Spandrel-Gard
Spandrel-Gard is an innovative, low-cost, pressure-sensitive film laminated to high-performance reflective glass and ceramic frit used over unsightly areas of commercial buildings. Spandrel-Gard masks structural and wall materials between floors giving a building the appearance of being built completely of glass.

Spandrel-Gard is a cost-effective film that boasts exceptional bonding, age stability and resistance to ultraviolet rays, moisture, humidity, oxidation and extreme temperatures. Spandrel-Gard also acts as a safety film holding together pieces of glass that would otherwise be projected upon impact.

Spandrel-Gard 3-mil, single-family acrylic PSA film has a black polyester carrier and clear silicone release liner. Manufactured under the strictest of clean room conditions, it has been tested and certified according to ASTM-C 1048 standards and approved under ISO 9001 Quality Management and Quality Assurance Standards. It is available in 36", 48", 60" and 72" rolls.

Silver-Spandrel
New to the commercial glass industry, Silver-Spandrel is a self-adhesive film composite that eliminates the need for ceramic frit and opacicoat painted spandrel glass. Due to the films metallic finish, clear, tinted and or reflective glass will take on a totally new dimension. Silver Spandrel comes in two tones, light and dark (Silver-Spandrel White and Silver-Spandrel Black).

Silver-Spandrel offers exceptional bonding and age stability and is resistant to moisture, humidity, oxidation, and extreme temperatures. Like all composites manufactured by Solamatrix, it has been independently tested and certified according to industry protocol and meets the ASTM-C 1048 fallout resistance standards.

Silver-Spandrel can be used on monolithic glass as well as sealed units when used as interior partitions or as spandrel applications. In both cases, the film is applied on the interior surface of the glass.
